Coaches Association of Ontario Celebrates Coaching Excellence

The male recipient of the Developmental Coach Award is Randy Thomas. For the past 24 years Randy has managed the University of Toronto at Scarborough Interfaculty Ice Hockey Program, and coached the men’s Division for 21 years, to great success. He also coached the interfaculty Men’s Lacrosse, Women’s Ice Hockey and Men’s Touch Football. Over the years Randy has increased the number of student and alumni coaches and is recognized for his ability to nurture leadership potential in the players. Randy is one of those coaches who can inspire his athletes to excel and to lead with integrity. He is loved by his players and peers alike and is a deserving recipient of this award.
