Open to Teams playing ice hockey, sledge hockey, field hockey, ball hockey or ringette (i) currently active in a league in Canada, (ii) comprised of no less than 10 individuals (combination of players and coaching staff) who are residents of Canada. Team must name a Team Representative having reached the age of majority. To enter, Team must submit one Team Cheer Video in the geographic region nearest to its hometown rink/arena during the submission period defined in the Contest Schedule. Five winning Teams in each region will be determined by public voting and will have to perform their cheer live on stage at the regional Hometown Hockey Event. The winning Team at the event will move on to National Finals where Grand Prize Winning Team will be determined by public voting. One Grand Prize NHL Hometown Hockey Experience (approx. CDN $70,000) including trip to Vancouver for winning Team (up to 17 players on the Team’s player roster plus one guest each and up to 3 members on the Team’s coaching staff, for a max. of 37 people).
